I wanted to say “hi” and introduce myself to everyone. Sorry for the late introduction, but maybe some of you have already seen my screen-name on the forums. I’m Jodye (pronounce Jo dee) and I recently joined team JC Designs – Gadgetbean.com to bring forth a more feminine approach to theme for our beloved PinkBerries. John enlisted me after numerous emails and requests from fans of JC Designs-Gadgetbean.com requesting him to make some themes geared towards female BB owners. He wanted to stay true to what he does best hence he felt it was best that I take on this task under his supervision and advices. I hope I can deliver to the table what you would expect from JC Designs – Gadgetbean.com !

This would be the first of my many themes to come for JC Designs: STORM Pink GrapeFruit Custom L, also avail for the Curve, 8800, 8700s.

We are back in the States after our vacation in Asia!! We would like to apologize to those of you who’s emails gotten lost or was responsed to in a slow manner as internet in Asia was very limited since we traveled to 3 different countries. Anyhow, we are now back and back in full force and speed!!!

We will be introducing a Classic JC Designs – Gadgetbean.com Theme (Real World Series) for the BOLD in a few. And yes, we will also be porting over our Number 1 rated BOLD themes over to the Curves, 8800s and Pearls whenever possible as I have gotten tons of emails on the BOLD Today Plus for those devices!!

Also, just to answer many of your questions about themes for the STORM and the new 8900 Curve!!

- Yes JC Designs – Gadgetbean.com will be making themes for the STORM and 8900 Curve once the Builder for it becomes avail!!!

And I would like to clarify the reason why JC Designs – Gadgetbean.com ‘s theme are always so precise and sharp!! I build themes for phones that I own and use on a daily basis. We DON’T test them on a simulator or a customers’ phone like many other developers. We actually OWN all the phones that we make themes for, you ask why?? Well… ok I have to admit, I have an addiction… yes.. with BlackBerries.. So once the Storm Builder becomes avail.. well you can be sure it will be tested on an actually device first before I release anything!!

For those who doesn’t know about the devastating events that happened in May. Here is a brief update:

Cyclone Nargis hit Yangon, Myanmar on May 3, 2008. Aid agencies estimate that there are around 2 million people who survived, many of whom are still homeless, and the groups have been able to reach only 270,000 of them so far. Another tropical cyclone is expected to form in the next 24 hours .

China’s Sichuan province was hit with a magnitude-7.9 quake on Monday, May 5, 2008.

“China’s official news agency is reporting the quake has killed about 12,000 people. Hundreds are still trapped under flattened schools, factories, and houses. And the quake zone encompasses an area the size of most of the continental U.S., stretching roughly from Maine to Arizona.” (Latest news on MSNBC.com)
